Unfortunately, we don’t get formal credit for academic book reviews, but I think they are incredibly important because 1) they are hard to write and an exercise in clear and precise thinking 2) it gives important feedback to authors 3) people often look at reviews, then the book.
So this is a review of Dorothea Kleine’s work on that most slippery of things, Amartya Sen’s Capability Approach.
